Overnight simple2009 has become a big sensation as he has consistently defeated many 5-6 dans on 3-4 stones handicap as well as having beaten cf [9d] (#5 on KGS) twice. As Europhie's post explained, his client his Chinese and the time in which he has played fits this.

His name on his profile is Shi Jinbo, a Chinese 3p. However, there are also speculation that he may be Chen Yaoye 9p. Warfreak2 [5d] claims that he is Chen Yaoye and knows it because he has met Chen on one of the Go trips to China. If so, that would be an amazing sensation indeed.

This is the first of two games where he managed to defeat Nightbox 7d on 2 stones handicap. It is not an easy feat to defeat a KGS 7d with 2 stones, but Simple2009 has already done it many times. We can say that he must be very strong. Here, it seems Black's first big mistake is Black 46, it seems better to be played on the lower right area, helping his weaker group and seeking to attack White's weaker group. Instead, Black answers White's forcing move in gote and with the result up to 59, White captures several key Black cutting stones. In the follow 50 or so moves, White makes 3 new groups, but instead, it seems that Black is the one under attack as seen with the invasion of White 109. Through White 117, White makes life for one of his groups as well as making territory in what used to be Black's area. White then manages to initiate a double attack on Black starting with White 137.With White 177 he ensures the capture of a big black dragon. Though Black captures the White group on the bottom, White received the better deal. White plays a much superior yose in the following moves and wins by 8.5 points.

So far his record is 19-4 in ranked games, but he has not yet lost an even game.
