Victor Chow's struggle. RoseDuke 9d vs. lingyi234 9d
Victor Chow is a strong amateur from South Africa. His most recent success was his 0.5 point win against Andy Liu, a strong amateur from the US, in the 28th WAGC in an immensely long and difficult 379-move game. He is well known for his unusual openings and is particularly fond of the 5-5 and the 6-4 moves, and has beaten professionals occasionally. He used to play on IGS and KGS, but these days you will see him on Tygem playing as "RoseDuke". However, it seems that he is struggling to keep a 9d rank there, recently dipping to 8d and barely coming up to 9d with a suboptimal performance so far (I think it shows how difficult the 9d rank is there!). Here is a game he played against lingyi234, another Chinese 9d player, with very slow time settings (1 minute byoyomi).
