IGS ranking #1 "snow5" crushed 4d on 6 stones!


Snow5, 9-dan (Japan) is currently #1 in IGS rating list. He has very good score, about 140W-20L
Few days ago he beat 4d easily on 6(!) stones!

But was he real 4d?
His moves 8,10,20 are typical for kyu players. It seems that there is a big ranks inflation on IGS. 10 years ago 4d was close to pro level and now 4d is close to kyu level!

Well, play handcap doesn`t meen suspicious. And i heard the dan in Kgs are stronger then the one in Igs, but i have no other arguments =D

About the IGS rating system be inflated, I don't know... I am 6k ~5k in KGS, but I only reached in 9k in IGS and never reached 8k... =O
Maybe there are many "sandbaggers" in this level (8k below), but it seems to me that IGS rating is stronger than KGS rating... =)

Yes, highest registration rank is 4d, thus many fakes.

This guy snow5 is very suspicious, he plays too many handicap games and in his game list I could hardly find any even game.
