Fellow Go'n'Games participant beats Fredrik Blomback, Swedish Nordic Champion

Background:
Fredrik Blomback (frbl) was born on July 10, 1991.  He is from Sweden, and has won a number of Go competitions, including:
  • Västerås 2009
  • Jusandan 2009
  • Nordic Championships 2008
  • Jusandan 2008
  • Linköping Open 2008
  • Stockholm Open 2007
  • Swedish Youth Champion 2006, 2007, 2008
He often uses KGS as a means to advertise an annual trip to China, but even if you aren't interested in the trip, his games give you a lot to study from!  He also uses the account name, Fredrik.

gongames09's identity has not been confirmed, but it is likely that he is also a participant in the annual China trip.  He hasn't played a ton of games on KGS, but he seems to be above the 5-dan level.

In this game, white builds a lot of potential up at the top, and also makes a big wall at the bottom.  With move 71, though, black seems to make white's wall slightly more ineffective before cutting into white's potential territory with move 87.

In the moves that follow, it looks like white has chance to kill black up to move 94, but with black's play at 95, white's plans are foiled!  Even before this, though, it seems that white was behind in the game.

This game is evidence that the higher ranked player on KGS does not always come close to winning the game.

If you looked at my info correctly, you would see it says "Second place of the Swedish Championships 2008".

Please get your facts right before you state that I claim something :)

Best wishes, Fredrik

Fredrik claims to have won the Swedish 2008 championship, but to avoid dispute, I've removed the contest from the list.
